A small section of the The beach is somewhat exposed and can be expected to be rough at times. A water safety risk assessment has not been carried out for this beach. The assessments which have been carried out at other beaches in County Wicklow have indicated a moderate risk from wave spilling, sand bars/banks and rip/other currents and therefore caution should be exercised especially with regard to the supervision of young children as such hazards may be present.
