Lilliput, a recreational inland water facility situated on the shores of Lough Ennell, boasts of a diverse aquatic flora. This exclusive bathing area serves as an ideal platform for the adventure center to educate children attending summer camps about the essence of water safety measures and canoeing. In addition, the Mullingar Swimming Club hosts an annual swim event at this prominent venue. Spanning an area of approximately 55 meters in width and 100 meters in length, Lilliput's bathing facility encompasses a sizeable 0.50 hectares of land.
The bathing area is used by the adventure centre to teach children participating in summer camps about water safety and canoeing. Local triathlon clubs hold swimming races at Lilliput throughout the summer months.
Lilliput bathing water site is located on the shores of Lough Ennell. The Lough is located near the town of Mullingar, County Westmeath and is approximately 4.5 miles long by 2 miles wide with an area of about 3,540 acres. The main river flowing into Lough Ennell is the river Brosna . The River Brosna enters Lough Ennell at Mullingar and exits on the opposite side of the lake at Lilliput. The bathing area extends over an area of approximately 55 meters wide and 100meters long (c.0.50Ha)
